We have listened to customer feedback from the espressoDisplays 13/15 products and rebuilt our touch experience from the ground up. Our latest touch experience includes multi-touch gestures for Mac, lower latency input and greater system compatibility.

espresso 17 Pro is compatible with 1000s of devices. The espresso 17 Pro has 2x USB-C ports, which is standard across almost all laptops and desktop computers. It connects with a single USB-C cable (included). espresso Displays are compatible with USB-C cables that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt 3 and 4. We also have HDMI & Mini DisplayPort cables if you have a device which requires that.

Yes, we have enhanced the speaker experience in our range with better audio experience. To ensure the best possible sound quality, the speakers in the Display 17 Pro have been engineered to operate when connected to a secondary power source.

The espresso 17 Pro screen has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, commonly known as 4k. This results in a Pixels Per Inch (PPI) of 257.6. In comparison, the Apple retina display is 227 PPI, and the Apple Pro XDR display is 245.

The espresso 17 Pro limits brightness to the power output of your device. To reach higher brightness levels unsupported by your device, use an external power source such as the espresso Charge.

espresso 17 Pro uses the power from your host device, such as a laptop. It does not require its own power or require charging. You can purchase the espresso Charge if you need additional power for espresso 17 Pro and your host device. We've designed the espresso Charge to partner with the Stand Pro to be a source of additional power whilst increasing the height of the stand.

The espresso 17 Pro is compatible with the espressoPen. The espresso 17 Pro with LiveTouch boasts a significantly improved pen experience, which has been further enhanced by our improvements to espressoFlow.

The espresso 17 Pro will fit in most backpacks that fit a 16-inch laptop. Due to the new design, the espresso 17 Pro is slightly shorter and marginally longer than the espresso 15T.
